Dear Journal,
I went running today, finally. Something happened to my foot ( I don't know what) and I couldn't walk or put pressure on it for a few days. It was not fun being out of commission, and I couldn't help but have a new appreciation for what Jason Nelson has gone through with his ankle. I only ran 2.4 miles, but at least I was back on. I plan on getting back to 4-5 miles a day within a week though. I'm training for a marathon right now, and within a few weeks my long runs will be up to 12-14 miles. Fun!
Our house is still not finished! Kris and Cheyenne (Rick's brother and his fiance) just bought a new house last weekend and will be able to move in on the 24th of this month if they want to, and Sara also bought a house and will be moving in the beginning of September. We bought our house back in March and will be the last to move in. I am so excited to be out of apartments though! I'm also looking forward to decorating it.
Rick and I made a goal book the other day, and we are pretty excited about it. We each have space to write 101 goals that we have for our life; Rick wrote 50 something and I wrote 40 something. The goals range from going to so many concerts a year to having 25+ investment properties.
Rick started one of his goals that he has had since age 8 the other day, with my help. He has always wanted to learn Muay Thai kickboxing so I found a school for him and he had his first session two days ago. He can go to class as many times a week as he wants, and will be going tonight. I think I am going to sign up to do it with him in a couple weeks. Good exercise, for sure!
I have finally decided to change my major from Kinesiology to Finance. Finance will be more useful in the long run, and if I ever want to use it for a career, I would be quite successful. I'm looking forward to seeing what the classes entail.
I'm going to go take care of the rat dogs now, so I'm signing off.
Love,
Meg
